meMy first experience with patchwork came when I was 15. I was asked by a neighbor named Ann, to hem her polyester pants. She was a very petite lady. I had to remove a considerable amount of fabric. After trimming, there was 2, 3 inch bands removed.

Even then, I couldn't throw away scraps. Soon, I had a variety of polyester bands. That's when I pieced my first patchwork pillows.

I started making baby quilts when I was expecting my first child. I hand quilted my quilts like everyone else did at the time. As if I weren't busy enough,  I thought  this would be a great way to make a little extra money but still be home with my young family. I started a hand quilting business for ladies. As, you could imagine it wasn't very pofitable.

Quilting started out innocently enough as a hobby, but has become an all consuming passion!

I love the feel of the fabric The colors and styles that are available. The colorful thread. The shining embelishments. The unlimited possibilities to put them all together.

As a long arm quilter I have the honor of adding to the lovley creations that others have labored over. I add another layer in the process that turns fibers into objects of love and beauty.
